Basketball Power Camp at HPBC
Parents, are your kids ready to level up their basketball skills while having a blast this summer? Our basketball camp is back again this summer and is designed for elementary-aged players to grow in skills, teamwork, and confidence—all in a fun, encouraging environment!

Pancakes at Night
For six weeks, starting Monday July 7th, HPBC will be offering Youth Alpha with Pastor Alec. Each session will begin at 7 pm with pancakes followed with a video and discussion about faith, Jesus and Christianity. The discussions will end by 9 pm. All youth are welcome to attend – feel free to come each session or to as many as your schedule allows. Pastor Alec looks forward to seeing you there!
Summer Book Club Returns
After several years off, and at the request of several people, Pastor Alec's summer book club will return! On three Wednesday nights – June 25th, July 23rd, and August 27th – from 7 to 9 pm – we'll be discussing a piece of Christian literature that we've read that month.
June's book will be CS Lewis' The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe. July's book, will be GK Chesterton's Orthodoxy, and August's book is yet TBD. Pastor Alec is looking forward to reading and discussing some great Christian literature will all who would like to join in.
Canada's Wonderland Youth Trip
The deadline to register for the HPBC Youth trip to Canada's Wonderland was June 14th. We cannot accommodate registrations after this date - NO exceptions.
We will depart from HPBC at 8:15 am and will leave the park when it closes at 8 pm. This should get us back to the church by approximately 10 pm.
Drivers and chaperons will have their costs covered by HPBC (includes gas and parking). Speak to Pastor Alec if you are available for this role.
The church will provide a cooler of sandwiches and water for lunch and dinner. Feel free to bring additional snacks to compliment this.
